David D. Vander Velde, DO, is a board-certified psychiatrist with Great Lakes Behavioral Health. Dr. Vander Velde has practiced psychiatry in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1991. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kurksvill, Missouri. He completed his internship at Carson City Hosptial in Carson City, Michigan, and his residency in psychiatry at Michigan Sate University in East Lansing, Michigan.
His primary interests are mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
Dr Vander Velde is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
